Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 29 August 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Very Websites ("Very Websites", "we", "us" or "our").

By agreeing to a quotation, proposal, order or other written agreement with us, you ("you" or "the client") agree to these Terms & Conditions together with any specific terms set out in the relevant agreement.

2. Our Services

Very Websites provides website design, website development, website maintenance, hosting management and related digital services.

The exact services provided will be agreed with you before work begins and may be described in a quotation, proposal, project agreement or other written communication.

3. Website Projects

Before starting a website project, we will agree the main scope of work with you.

This may include the pages and features to be created, the agreed design direction, content supplied by the client, functionality, integrations, pricing and any agreed deadlines.

4. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing information, content, images, logos, account access and other materials that we reasonably require to complete your project.

You must ensure that material you provide to us does not infringe another person's intellectual property rights or otherwise break applicable law.

5. Pricing & Payments

The price for a project or service will be agreed before the relevant work begins.

Where applicable, payment schedules, deposits, instalments or recurring charges will be stated in the relevant quotation or agreement.

6. Revisions & Changes

The number and type of revisions included in a website project will depend on the agreed scope.

Requests for substantial changes, additional pages, new functionality or work outside the agreed scope may require an additional quotation.

7. Hosting & Maintenance

Where you purchase a Very Websites maintenance or hosting-related service, the services included will depend on the plan you have selected.

The exact services included in each maintenance plan are described on our Pricing page or in your agreement with us.

8. Domains, Hosting & Third-Party Services

Some website services may depend on third-party providers, including domain registrars, hosting providers, email providers, payment providers and other software or services.

Third-party providers have their own terms, policies, pricing and availability. We cannot guarantee the uninterrupted operation of services that are outside our control.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed, you retain ownership of original content, branding, images, text and other materials that you provide to us.

Once all agreed payments for a website project have been made, ownership or the relevant licence to use the completed website work will be provided as specified in the project agreement.

10. Website Launch & Approval

Before a website is launched, we may provide you with an opportunity to review the completed work.

You are responsible for reviewing the website and informing us of any issues or changes that need to be addressed.

11. Website Availability & Security

We will take reasonable steps to maintain websites and services that we manage.

However, websites may occasionally become unavailable because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, including hosting outages, domain issues, third-party failures, cyber incidents or technical problems.

12. Cancellation & Termination

The cancellation arrangements for a specific project or recurring service will depend on the agreement made with you.

Any outstanding amounts for services already provided or work already completed remain payable, subject to your legal rights.

13. Liability

We will not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights or our legal obligations.

14. Complaints

If you have a problem with a service we have provided, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We will aim to understand the issue and work with you to resolve it fairly and promptly.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Contact
